William T. “Bill” Estabrook, 86 passed away on July 29, 2021 due to complications with his heart, which prevented him from needed surgery.
He leaves his wife, Yvonne (Mailloux) Estabrook; a sister, Shirley Peterson and her husband, David of Bridgewater; two nieces, Linda DeNeering and her husband, Wesley of Ashland and Kate Leach and her husband, Douglas of Alton, NH and a nephew, Paul Peterson of Bridgewater. He was pre-deceased by his three children, Christine, Ryan and Steven. Bill & Yvonne would have been married 58 years in this August.
Bill was a graduate of Auburn High School. He attended Clark University for one year and decided he would join the Navy. Bill enlisted and served between 1955 to 1959 which was during the Korean War. Following his discharge from the Navy, Bill attended and graduated from the New England School of Accounting and shortly after began working at Jamesbury Corp. in the Purchasing Dept., where he eventually became Purchasing Manager. While at Jamesbury he was given the opportunity to attend the School of Industrial Management at WPI. In later years he worked at Felters Company in Millbury also in purchasing. Working in Millbury gave him the opportunity to coach soccer and little league games which he loved.
For a few years we became "snow birds" driving down to Fort Myers during the months of February and March which the main purpose was to attend the Red Sox spring training games. Bill was an avid Baseball fan.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Williams’s life by gathering for his Funeral Mass on Saturday, August 7th at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 N. Main St. in Millbury. His wife, Yvonne will meet those attending as you enter the church. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in Auburn. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. Millbury, MA 01527.
