Thomas Foley

Thomas F. Foley, 79, passed away on February 7th, 2018 at Beaumont Nursing Home in Northbridge, MA. He was born in Worcester, MA.

Graduating as valedictorian from St. Johns High School, he also excelled on their basketball team and attended Nichols College. He served in the United States Air Force 798th AC&W SQDN ILL Alaska. Tom enjoyed golf, watching all of the New England sports teams, reading, and his dogs, but the love of his family is what he cherished the most.

He was employed by Sweet Life and Super Value Foods and was a retired member of the Teamster Union, Local 170.

Tom is survived by his wife of 47 years Dorothy (LaCoy) Foley, his daughter Cheryl Piasta and her late husband Edward of Millbury. His son Michael Sarnblad and his wife Pamela of Whitinsville. His grandchildren Kene Piasta and his wife Jen of Natick, Shayne Piasta of Columbus OH and Max Sarnblad of Whitinsville. He was predeceased by his parents Michael and Anna Foley, his brother John (Jack) Foley and his wife Irene. Tom also leaves many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be greatly missed by his family.

At Tom’s request, a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
