Thomas G. Ellstrom, 56, passed away suddenly after being stricken ill in his home on Tuesday, August 8th.
Tom leaves his mother, Gertrude S. (Kosky) Ellstrom, with whom he lived and a brother, Michael Ellstrom and his wife, Patricia of Key West, FL. He is predeceased by his father, Donald G. Ellstrom.
Tom enjoyed reading, word puzzles and watching movies. He worked at Friendly’s Liquor Store in Whitinsville for 17 years. Tom did a lot of volunteer work at the Alternatives Unlimited in Whitinsville.
Tom’s calling hours will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Friday, August 11th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.
His funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Millbury.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alternatives Unlimited Inc., 60 Douglas Road, Whitinsville, MA 01588. Alternatives Unlimited is a human service agency that works with adults with disabilities.
