Theresa Mckinnon

SUTTON – Theresa M. (Lamothe) McKinnon, 93, died Friday Dec. 23rd after declining health, surrounded by her family.

She leaves three children, Dr. Margaret McKinnon, Mary B. McKinnon and Robert G. McKinnon all of Sutton; three grandchildren, Ashley N. Corby, Adam R. McKinnon, and Matthew R.P. McKinnon Madison all of Sutton; five great grandchildren, Donovan E. Corby, Declan A. Corby, Rylan R. Corby, Morgan M. Corby and Leonhart N. Corby; two brothers, Lawrence J. and George E. Lamothe; a sister, Margaret P. Rzewuski and her husband Ray; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.  She is predeceased by her husband, Robert J. McKinnon who died in 1988 and son, James J. McKinnon who died in 1982, her parents, George F. and Margaret L. (Kamaitis) Lamothe.

Theresa graduated from Ascension High School and St. Vincent School of Nursing, both in Worcester.  She was a Registered Nurse at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, the Visiting Nurses of Sutton and Millbury and the American Red Cross.

Family and friends are invited to Theresa’s calling hours from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 30th at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main St. in Millbury. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Dec. 31st at 10:30 am in St. Mark’s Church, 356 Boston Road in Sutton.  Burial will follow in Howard Cemetery in Sutton.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark’s Church, 356 Boston Rd. in Sutton, MA 01590.
