Sheila Gencarelli

MILLBURY - Sheila Jean (Hicks) Gencarelli, 71, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 16th in St. Vincent Hospital with her granddaughters by her side.

Sheila leaves two children, Christina Moreno and husband Jesus of CA and Antonio Gencarelli of Millbury; four grandchildren, Sandra Kaupu and her fiancé, Izaac Thompson, Sharlene and Antonette Kaupu, Isabella Vigeant; seven great grandchildren, Mathew, Jazavien, Olivia, Mia, Izaac, Mylez, and Mason; a brother, David Hicks of Charlton; many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She predeceased by her parents, Ralph and Margaret (Jacques) Hicks and a brother, Ronald Hicks.

Sheila worked many years as a hairdresser. She loved Hawaii.  Shelia was very religious and was a faithful parishioner of St. Brigid Church for most of her life.  She enjoyed singing, drawing and most of all spending time with her family.

Family and friends will honor and remember Sheila’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Wednesday, Nov. 20th from 5 to 8 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, Nov. 21st at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 N. Main Street in Millbury.  Burial will follow at Central Cemetery, Millbury.
