Robert Franco

SHREWSBURY – Robert A. Franco, 64, on December 24th Bob joined his mom, Effie, and dad, Henry Arrell, his aunt and uncle and two nephews in heaven.  He was a great and strong man who loved to work driving the big rigs and riding motorcycles, especially riding up the Mohawk Trail.

He leaves his wife of 22 years, Pamela (Chausse) Franco, five children Margo Ann, Robert Jr, Mark, Jody and Jenna Franco, four step children Jo, Michael, Christopher and Tonya Reed and their spouses, whom he loved and treated as his own from day one, eighteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, his sister Margo Wood, brother’s Mark and Tim Arrell, sister and brother in laws Sharon and James Waskiewicz, James and Lee Chausse, Jeffrey Wood and Dawn Kasserman and cousin Roland Hudson who was like a brother to Bob and his cats and constant companions, Paco and Chi Chi.

Pam would like to thank all the Doctors and nurses at UMASS 6th floor ICU for being so compassionate and caring during Bob’s final days, especially nurse Carol Trudeau, Bob called her Big Red.  She was Pam’s rock during such a difficult time.

Bob’s memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12th in Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, 3 Pleasant Street in Sutton.
