MILLBURY – Paul J. Holden, 93, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 7th.
Paul’s wife of 63 years, Claire I. (Wychorski) Holden passed in 2017. He leaves his daughter, Audrey Rano-Porter and her husband, Robert Porter; a grandchildren, Christina Rano; one great grandson, Anthony Rano, II; nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his son, Daryl Holden and two grandsons, Paul and Anthony Rano.
Paul will be remembered by all who knew him, as a soft spoken and kind man. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during World War II and received the WWII Victory Medal. Paul served in the Boston Naval Station as a Seaman Second Class on the USS Worcester and USS Columbus. Paul worked at Wyman Gordons for over 45 years and owned and operated his own painting business in Millbury. He was very proud of the many painting projects he did in town and took great pride in his work.
Paul will be always be remembered by his family as a wonderful and loving husband, father and grandfather.
Paul’s family will remember and celebrate his life privately.
