UXBRIDGE – Nancy R. (Greenwood) Grant, 89, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 12, 2021, surrounded by her loving daughters. Nancy was born on July 24, 1931, in Worcester, MA.

Nancy is predeceased by her husband, Frederick P. Grant Jr. and her infant son, Frederick P. Grant III. She leaves three daughters, Cindy R. Donovan and her husband Daniel of Leicester, Donna L. Grant of Uxbridge and Heather Grant of North Grafton; one granddaughter, Liza Hsin and her husband, Ronald of Holden; a great-grandson, Darren D. Hsin; her brother, John R. Greenwood III of Holliston; her sister-in-law, Joanne P. Seagrave of Enfield, CT; and many nieces and nephews. Nancy is predeceased by her parents, J. Roger Jr. and R. Florence (Jacobson) Greenwood; a sister, Lois Forsberg and her husband Pete; her sister-in-law Martha; her father and mother-in-law, Frederick P. Sr. and Edith P. Grant.

Nancy was a 1951 graduate of Millbury High School and graduate of Becker College. After graduation she worked for Marvin Richmond Photography before marrying Fred. Nancy was a homemaker for many years and upon her husband’s death she continued to operate the family-owned business, Grant’s Monumental Works in Uxbridge. In her earlier years, Nancy was an active member of the First Congregational Church in Uxbridge, MA, serving on many boards. She enjoyed her family, friends and many interests which included bowling in the Whitinsville Women’s Monday Morning League, playing cards, scrabble matches, working on crossword puzzles and watching old movies. Nancy was blessed with family who loved her, many good friends and good health. Nancy’s greatest joy was spending summers at the family camp on Singletary Lake since the age of seven. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter, taking extraordinary care of her mother for many years until her death at age ninety-nine. Nancy will be greatly missed and will live forever in the hearts of those who loved her.

Nancy’s family will celebrate and remember her life privately.
