MILLBURY- Mary A. (Ballard) Boucher, 85, passed away in her home on May 26th. Her husband of 59 years, Arthur G. Boucher passed in 2015.
She leaves a daughter, Sharon M. Cristo and her husband, John and a son, Alan A. Boucher all of Millbury; two grandchildren, Lisa M. Decoteau and her husband, Thomas of Northbridge and John R. Cristo of Millbury; three great grandchildren, Andrew, Logan and Lauren Decoteau; her sister, Joyce Direnzo; many nieces, nephews, cousins and her companion dog, Snuggles. She is predeceased by a grandson, AJ Cristo.
Mary was born to the late Henry and Alice (Paille) Ballard. She attended and graduated from Millbury Memorial High School. Mary loved boating and skiing on Dorothy Pond where she resided for over 60 years. She enjoyed her grandchildren, sewing, reading, vacationing in Maine, traveling to many destinations and her favorite trip was to Hawaii.
Family and friends are invited to remember Mary’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Thursday, June 2nd from 4 to 7 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 3rd at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 N. Main Street, Millbury. Burial will follow in Central Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 12 Waters Street, Millbury MA 01527.
