Margaret Salvas

SUTTON – Margaret A. (Deeter) Salvas, 81, passed away after a brief illness on Sept. 20th surrounded by her family.

Peg’s husband, Robert R. Salvas passed away in 2007.  She leaves three sons, Jon Salvas of Newport News, VA, Daniel R. Salvas of Webster and Robert R. Salvas, Jr. of Sutton; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Salvas; six grandchildren, Danielle, Michael, Patrick, Marie, Brianna and Savanna; five siblings, Tom, John, Jim, Charlotte and Kathy; many nieces and nephews.

Peg enjoyed traveling, reading, going to the casino, knitting and animals.

Family and friends will honor and remember Peg’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Tuesday, Sept. 25th from 5 to 8 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.

Her funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday, Sept 26th at 11 a.m. in the First Congregational Church of Sutton, 307 Boston Road in Sutton.  Burial will follow at Central Cemetery, Millbury.
