Lucy Richford

MILLBURY – Lucy “Meme” P. (Grenier) Richford, 81, passed away on October 11th, in UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.

Lucy’s husband of 53 years, Leonard "Pepe" R. Richford passed away in 2010.  She leaves 8 children, Leonard Richford, Jr., Guy Richford and his wife, Barbara, John Richford, Craig Richford and his wife Debbie, Michael Richford and his wife, Kristy, Doreen Schluns and her husband Robert, Darlene Orrell and her husband, Roy and Karen Dryden; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and others she adopted along the way.  She is predeceased by her brother, Alfred Grenier and her sister, Pearl Charbonneau.

Lucy loved cooking, helping her family and others, going to the beach, collecting shells, along with many other things. She was an avid bingo player and never passed up a trip to the casino. Meme loved doing puzzles and also her scratch tickets. Her greatest joy was being with her family.

Lucy’s visitation will be held on Monday, Oct. 18th from 4 to 7 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury.  A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 19th at 11 a.m. in Central Cemetery, West Street in Millbury.
