MILLBURY

MILLBURY – Glenn D. Wians, 63, passed away on Friday, August 13th in his home with his loving wife by his side.

Glenn leaves his wife of 40 years, Susan L. (Merchant) Wians; four siblings, Dr. Frank H. Wians, Jr. and his wife, Patricia of Texas, Carol Sawyer of Hudson, Roy Wians and his wife, Mary of Florida and Scott Wians of Blackstone; many nieces and nephews.  Glenn is predeceased by his parents, Frank and Charlotte (Burgess) Wians.

Glenn worked for 40 years as a machine operator at Bemis Associates of Shirley, MA.  He was in the United Steel Workers Union Local 506.  Glenn was an avid boater and loved helping people in the boating community, especially at the boat ramp on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, where he was a member of the Water Rescue Safety Patrol.  The family would like to thank Dr. Aggerwal and the VNA Hospice Care for all their care and support.

Family and friends will celebrate and remember Glenn’s life with a time of visitation on Saturday, August 21st from 10 a.m. to Noon at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.

His funeral service will follow at Noon in the funeral home.  Burial will be in Central Cemetery, Millbury.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network at www.pancan.org
