To the family and friends, we would like to express our sincere condolences and send our Christian love along with some words of encouragement. Many wonder can they be reunited with their love ones again. At John 5:28, 29 it gives us hope of a resurrection, the Bible gives us three reasons to believe in this promise. God is the source of life (Psalms 36:9) God has resurrected humans in the past. (John 11:39-44) God is eager to do it again. (Job 14, 15) to learn more visit www.jw.org

Gladys will always live in my memory. She was a saint of God. I remember the day I first met her. It was in the Church kitchen (no surprise). I introduced myself as the NEW minister. Her prompt reply: Well how do you do. I'm the OLD cook!" I last saw her leaving Joan Smith's funeral. She said to me: "I'm next and I am ready!" It was a high and dry spirited comment that exemplified her life. All my life when I think of Sutton I will continue to think of Gladys and the life lessons she taught us all. You all our are in the thoughts of Esther and myself....Your OLD minister, Arthur

So sad to read about Gladys is passing in the paper. I have fond memories of preparing food at church suppers downstairs in the kitchen dining area. Those were good days for me working together with Smitty Helen o and Gladys made the drudgery of kitchen work enjoyable and memorable. She would Shake her wooden spoon at me and tell me be careful or I would get it but good. She taught me how to cut and chopped potatoes so I didn't bleed in them. Thanks for the Memories Gladys. Goodbye
Goodbye is not forever goodbye is not the end it simply means I will miss you until we meet again.

Gladys was one of the loveliest women in town when I grew up there in the 50’s. I loved seeing her kind smile and enjoyed her helpful ways at the library. My sympathies to her children and family, the world has lost a beautiful soul, but truly heaven’s gain.

What a special lady! I learned so much from her (don't worry Gladys, we still guard some of those kitchen secrets)! Will miss her. Sympathies to the entire family.
