Dorothea Molleur, 97, passed away Wednesday, April 22nd surrounded by her loving family at St. Camillus Heath Center in Northbridge.

Dorothea leaves two children, Bruce J. Molleur of Maine and Carolyn J. Cournoyer and her husband, Robert P. of South Grafton; two grandchildren, Robert A. Cournoyer and his wife, Tina Pescheta of Barre and Rebecca A. Corda and her husband, Michael of Grafton; two great grandchildren, Mikayla and Nicholas Corda; a sister, Ruth Poynter of California; a nephew and two nieces. She is predeceased by a sister, Charlotte Reed.

Dorothea worked for Dr. Clifford J. Audette as a dental assistant and office manager for 25 years. She was a member of the Millbury Woman's Club for over 30 years. The very special honor of Honorary Member was bestowed on her and Dorothea was also a past president of the club. Dorothea was a member of the Nerieds Swim Club at the YWCA for 25 years. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Wilkinsonville for over 64 years. Dorothea participated in many church clubs which included the church choir, the Women's Guild and Altar Guild. She was a very generous person willing to the help anyone whenever she could and lived life to the fullest. Dorothea was proud of all the clubs she was involved with and thoroughly enjoyed all the people she worked with along the way. She was affectionately referred to as Nana by all her family. Dorothea was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, church and club activities. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff on Mingen Way at St. Camillus Heath Center, for the wonderful care they gave to our mother during her eleven month stay.

Dorothea's funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 28th at 11 a.m. in St. John's Episcopal Church, 3 Pleasant Street in Sutton. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
