Daniel Manders

MILLBURY – Daniel R. Manders, 68, passed away on Sunday, April 25th in UMASS Medical Center, after a long illness.

Dan is survived by his wife of 32 years, Susan G. (Lundvall) Manders; a son, Dan of Calgary, Canada; two daughters, Tammy and Tara of Ontario, Canada; two stepdaughters, Kerry Joubert and Michele Boisvert; a stepson, Scot Boisvert and his wife, Tracy; four grandchildren, Joe, Mark, Jenna and Connor; three sisters, Joyce, Viv and Fran; many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents, Edward Manders of Kent, England and his mother, Fanny McNair of Paisley, Scotland; two sisters, Doe and Mae and a brother, Teddy.

Digger Dan was a member of the Millbury Lions Club for over 20 years, along with his wife Susan.

Family and friends will honor and remember Dan’s life with a time of visitation on Sunday, May 2nd from 2 to 5 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.  His funeral service and burial will be private.
