William J. Lange

William "Billy" J. Lange (80) of Millbury, MA passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 29.

Billy is survived by his devoted partner of 39 years, David Breton, three nephews, Jamie C. Lange, William J. Lange, his husband Glenn Scott, and their son Kam, Gregory P. Lange, Jr. and his wife Mary, and a sister-in-law, Cheri A. Lange. He is predeceased by his parents, William J. Lange and Irene R. (Lynch) Lange Aubin, his brother, Gregory P. Lange Sr., and a nephew, Brendin J. Lange.

Born and raised in Millbury, Billy attended Millbury Public Schools and graduated in 1963. Since 1981, he has been the owner and president of Lange Rest Homes, Inc, dedicating his career to providing comfort and dignity to those in his care.

Billy was affectionately known as "Uncle Bill" to many, a man whose quick wit, warm heart, and generous spirit left an impression on everyone he met. He brought joy effortlessly- whether through a clever remark, a helping hand, or simply his presence. His passing leaves a profound loss for all who were fortunate enough to love him.

Family and friends will honor and remember Billy’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Thursday, Dec. 4th from 4 to 7 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury. 

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Dec. 5th at 11 a.m. in St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 356 Boston Road, Sutton with burial to follow in Central Cemetery, Millbury.
