MILLBURY - Thomas Weeks, 49, formerly of Clinton, MA, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2022 from pulmonary failure as of a resulting of complications from Covid-19.
He is survived by his devoted wife Cathleen (Chausse) Weeks, a son Cpl. Patrick Weeks and his fiancée Darby Noblet of North Carolina, daughters Marie J. Weeks and Anna Weeks, a step-son Kevin Paquette all of Millbury and a step-son Justin Paquette of New Hampshire. He also leaves behind his mother Marie L. (Folkins) Weeks of Clinton and a brother Todd Weeks and his husband Eric Paige of Fitchburg; many aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and so very many friends. He is predeceased by his father Richard Weeks and grandparents Roy and Mabel (Wheeler) Folkins and Robert and Beatrice (Gudroe) Weeks.
Tom was an avid outdoorsman with a love for hunting and fishing, wood working and wood cutting. He continued the family tradition of making maple syrup, passed on to him from his grandfather and his latest adventure in beekeeping and honey production with his dear friend Joe Morowski. He was a proud member of the Northeast Big Buck Club since 2002 and the Singletary Rod & Gun Club.
Tom worked for many years driving tractor trailer for Marriott, Cardinal Freight, R&M Trucking and Stericycle. He earned the Marriott Driver of the Year Award 2000. Tom also volunteered for the Friends of Millbury Seniors, Inc. Transportation and enjoyed his many friendships made at the Millbury Senior Center.
Family and friends will remember and celebrate Tom’s life with a time of visitation on Sunday, Jan. 30th from 2 to 5 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.
His funeral Mass will be held on Monday, Jan. 31st at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 10 Waters Street in Millbury. Burial will be private.
Face masks will be required in the funeral home and church.
In lieu of flowers, consider planting a Maple tree or donations may be sent to the Friends of Millbury Seniors, Inc., 1 River St., Millbury, MA 01527.
