SUTTON – Terri A. (Bousquet) Trippi, 59, passed away on Wednesday, June 24th, 2026 at UMass Memorial Medical Center-University Campus surrounded by the love of her family.
Terri leaves behind her devoted husband of 15 years, Anthony Trippi, Jr.; her daughter, Rachel Scott and her husband Steven Scott of Lancaster, NH; her adored granddaughter, Keira Scott; her brothers, Michael Bousquet and his wife Silena of Webster, and Joseph Bousquet and his wife Annette of Oxford; and a very dear friend Jacalyn Pekala.
Terri is predeceased by her mother Janice (Kleya) Colorio of Sutton; and her sweet angel daughter Danielle Kleya Lavallee.
Terri was born on November 15th, 1966, and grew up in Manchaug. When she was a young child, she loved spending time at her grandmother’s house where she and her mother would rock in a rocking chair together, soaking up the scents of chicken soup and baked bread, and enjoying each other’s company. She liked bicycling around town, going to dance class, and playing at the ball field with her brothers and neighborhood friends. As a teenager, she modeled – truly beautiful inside and out.
Terri graduated from Worcester Girls’ Trade High School and went on to work as a secretary at Digital before pursuing a career in healthcare. She graduated from Quinsigamond Community College and became a Registered Nurse working, most recently, at Milford Regional Medical Center. She had a selfless heart and cared for her patients, friends, and family alike; Always putting others first.
Terri loved the simple things in life. She appreciated the sound of birds singing and was the first to point out animals in the yard or a particularly colorful sunset. She spent many days gardening; making the most of any small patch of earth by turning it into a gorgeous display of flowers and fresh vegetables. She enjoyed listening to audiobooks, doing puzzles, cooking, going on walks, playing games, and relaxing by a fire.
Above all else, she valued community and her relationships with family and friends. She always looked forward to spending time with her granddaughter, which brought her incredible joy and laughter. She was an active member of the Sokol Club.
She loved to travel and was eager to experience what the world had to offer. She traveled long distances to foreign countries such as Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Belize, and others. Enjoying the local cuisine and shopping were always highlights of any trip. Other times, she traveled closer to home, visiting her daughter in New Hampshire, and making multiple trips a year to her home-away-from-home on Cape Cod with her husband and his family.
Terri was unabashedly herself. She was silly and kind and honest and gave everyone she crossed paths with a comfortable space to be themselves. She had a remarkable ability to make friends with anyone, whether it was coworkers, extended family members or even strangers in a store.
Terri will be remembered for her warmth, resilience, compassion, and candid nature. Her presence brought joy and comfort to those around her, and she will be terribly missed. Her memory will continue to live on in those who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to remember and celebrate Terri’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Wednesday, July 8th from 4 to 7 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury.
