Steven L. Gagne, 66, formerly of Sutton passed away on Sunday, July 23rd surrounded by his family after a brief illness.
Steve leaves his mother, Helena “Bunny” (Bernier) Gagne of Worcester and Sutton; two brothers, John S. Gagne and his wife, Kathleen of Worcester, Thomas P. Gagne and his wife, Christine of Pahoa, Hawaii; his cousin, Christine (Cofsky) Backman of Florida; many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, Joseph P.L. Gagne.
Steve was a talented artist, writer, musician and storyteller. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time in nature. Steve will always be remembered as a happy, kind and peaceful man, with only love in his heart for every other soul. In remembrance of Steve, be kind and gentle to one another to make the world a better place.
Steve’s calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 26th from 5-7 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.
His Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 27th at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mark’s Church, 356 Boston Road in Sutton. Burial will follow at Howard Cemetery in Sutton.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice & Palliative Care, 199 Rosewood Drive, Suite 180, Danvers, MA 01923 or to the donor’s choice.
