MILLBURY - Shirley M. (Veo) Charron, 69, of 9 Leslie Lane, died Wednesday, July 18, in her home, after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 48 years, Henry J. Charron; two sons, Robert J. Charron of South Grafton and John H. Charron of Millbury; a daughter, Mary E. Gagliardi of Millbury; a brother, Robert Veo of Hudson; a sister, Beverly Daigneault of Hudson; seven grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She is pre-deceased by a son Thomas M. Charron. She was born in Hudson, daughter of Henry and Hazel (Schofield) Veo and has lived in Millbury 39 years.
Mrs. Charron worked in the operations department at the former Shawmut Bank in Worcester for 25 years, retiring in 1994 . She was a member of St. BrigidTM)s Church.
The funeral will be held Friday, July 20, from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigids Church. Burial will be in St. BrigidTM)s Cemetery. Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 19, in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to a charity.
