MILLBURY - Scott A Gully Jr., 31, passed away on July 29, 2021 surrounded by family and friends at UMass after injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Scott was preceded by his father Scott A. Gully Sr. and his grandfather Francis A Daviau Sr. He is survived by his mother Linda J. Gully, his sister Tiffany Sousa and her husband Donny, his “little big brother” Richie Daviau and his wife Ashley. Scott also leaves his aunt, Charlene White and her husband Michael, his uncle, Francis Daviau Jr.; nephews and nieces Donny, Dante, Kamryn and Jordyn; cousins, Michael, Anthony, Candace, and Franny; his best friend of many years, who never left his side, Adam McKenna; Cheryl and Steve Nickerson who were like his second parents; many friends and loved ones.
Scotty graduated from Millbury High Class of 2008 and attended Quinsigamond Community College. He worked as a network’s administrator, a lead man wood assembler, and most recently was the manager at the family-owned establishment, Lamplighter II.
Scotty was an avid sports fan which included playing football in high school and earning his brown belt in Taekwondo. Scotty loved everything superhero’s, especially Marvel. He idolized Tony Stark A.K.A Iron Man and embraced all the character meant and preserved through. Scotty was a big boy with a bigger heart who always was the first to help others. Scotty will be missed by all his family and friends, especially his dog Maya.
A Celebration of Life for Scotty will be held on Sunday August 15, 2021 from 1:00pm-5:00pm at J. Anthony’s Italian Grill, 917 Southbridge Street, Auburn, MA 01501.
