MILLBURY- Ruth P. (Clarke) Williams, 77, of 417 Greenwood St., died Sunday, Oct. 13, in Westborough Health Care, Westborough.
He husband, Charles M. Williams died in 1987. She leaves a daughter, Laura E. Gosselin of Millbury; two sons, David Williams of Millbury and Thomas T. Williams of East Hartford, Ct.; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, daughter of William and Nellie (Fogg) Clarke and has lived here 51 years.
Mrs. Williams was an telephone operator for New England Telephone Company in Worcester, for 31 years, retiring in 1980. She was a former member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Worcester. She enjoyed crocheting.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St ( www.mulhane.com ). Burial will be in Worcester County memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, in the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Massachusetts Chapter, 36 Cameron Ave., Cambridge, Ma. 02140.
