Roy D. Brewer

MILLBURY - Roy D. Brewer, 65, passed away on Saturday, May 24th at UMass Memorial Medical Center.

Roy leaves his wife Diane Brewer (Cotter), his two children, Noelle Jacobs and her husband Jeremiah (J.D.) from Cross Hill, S.C., and Jack Brewer and his girlfriend Leah Leonard from Millbury, Ma., two grandchildren, Patrick Livingston from Greer, SC and Masen Livingston from Irmo, SC; great grandchildren, Lakelynn, Oaklynn and AJ; siblings, Judith Humphrys and her husband Terry from Oakridge, TN, Betty Brown from Hudson, Ma, Joanne Sheahan from Hudson, Ma, along with many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a grandchild, Kayla Livingston and brother David Brewer.

Roy enjoyed his summer morning coffee on the deck. He was a family man and family meant everything to him, and he loved them deeply.

Roy enjoyed camping, fishing and beach vacations with family. He loved racing and building race cars with his son, Jack.

Roy was a caring man. He would always be the first person to call if you needed a hand. Always willing to help anyone.

Roy was always on the go. Whether it was working, helping someone or going racing. He was not a sit still type of person.

His sobriety was very important to him. Whether it was keeping his own or helping someone else achieve theirs. He was always there to offer support.

Family and friends will honor and remember Roy’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Thursday, June 5th from 5 to 7 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury. 

His funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
