 WHITINSVILLE- Roger R. LaCour, Sr.,75, passed away on August 18, 2025. He was born on April 30, 1950, the son of Girard C and Bernette J LaCour. He was married to his surviving wife Denise LaCour.

Roger is survived by his sons Roger R. LaCour, Jr, of Lewiston, ME, James of Whitinsville, Christopher of Northbridge. Daughters Stacey and husband Chad Burr of Uxbridge, Kelley Donadio and Andy Cabana of South Grafton. Grandchildren Cameron, Tucker, Dylan, Nevaeh, Hannah, Blake, Wyatt. Several nieces and nephews and great grandchildren. Sister in laws Deborah Anderson of Worcester and Cheryl Mercure of Millbury. Brothers Eugene and wife Shirley of Lewiston, ME. Richard and wife Brenda of Lisbon, Me.

He was predeceased by his parents, brother Lloyd, son Jonathan and grandson Jericho. He grew up in Millbury MA, while attending Millbury High School he enlisted to serve his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. serving two tours (1967-1969) in Vietnam. He received the Vietnam Service medal, 2 Purple Hearts, National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Presidential Unit Citation and a Navy Achievement with Valor Medal.

Returning from Vietnam he attended Malden Tech, he worked in a foundry, as a chef at MaMa Leonie’s and Anthony’s Pier Four, Olin and Illinois. He also worked at Scola Construction, residential and commercial property manager for Lin Pro, B.T.E. doing HVAC and driving for Resenburger and a school bus driver before retiring. He also co-owned Dee Dee’s Place Café with his wife.

He loved fishing, camping, and casino trips as well as spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

A private graveside service will be held at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
