MILLBURY

MILLBURY- Robert J. Rousseau, 63, passed away peacefully on October 24th at UMass Medical Center.

Robert leaves his wife of 35 years Ronde K. (Bergeson) Rousseau, his brother Michael Rousseau of Douglas. Bob also leaves a stepbrother Jerry Urso and stepsister Linda (Urso) Harris, brother-in-law Carl Bergeson and his wife Penny, and sister-in-law Lynn Dahlin and her husband Paul, along with 10 nieces and nephews; many cousins and friends.

Bob is predeceased by his mother Marie Urso and father George Rousseau.

Bob was born and raised in Worcester and graduated from Holy Name High School in 1979. Bob served for 6 years in the USNR as a SeaBee obtaining the rank of Builder Second Class. Bob worked extensively in the home building and remolding industry. As a child Bob was involved with the Boy Scouts receiving the highest rank of Eagle Scout.

Bob’s hobbies included traveling with his wife Ronde, playing golf and darts. He also loved watching football.

Bob was very generous with his time and knowledge helping many family and friends with various projects.

Family and friends are invited to remember and celebrate Bob’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Friday, Nov. 1st from 5 to 7 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Boy Scouts of America, Mohegan Council, 19 Harvard Street, Worcester, MA 01609.
