Robert Gauthier

Robert C. Gauthier, 83, died November 17, 2018 after a long illness.

Bob was in the National Guard and enjoyed his career as a truck and bus driver.  He also volunteered driving the St. Brigid Church bus.

His wife, Margaret (LaChapelle) Gauthier preceded him in death, also his parents, sisters Barbara Gauthier and Eleanor Chapman Fisher, nephew George Chapman and niece Patty Stone.  He is survived by his nephew Paul Fisher, nieces Kit Chapman, Toni Koland, Karen Gorney, Barbara Beatty and his beloved cat, "Baby".

Bob enjoyed revisiting his truck driving memories with Mike and his workers at Mike's Garage, going to the Dunkin Donuts, both in Millbury, and eating out with friends. Until the last couple of summers Bob could be seen riding his motorcycle.  "He was grateful for his neighbors' and Senior Citizens' help."

Family and friends will honor and remember Bob’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Thursday, Nov. 29th from 4 to 6 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.  Burial will be private.
