Richard Bemis

MILLBURY – Richard W. Bemis, 73, formerly of Sherborn, passed away on Monday, June 25th after being stricken ill.

Richard leaves his three children, Rebecca Palmer and her husband, Wallace of Sudbury, Jennifer Bemis of Millbury and Clayton Bemis of Sherborn; two grandchildren, Katie and River; a sister, Linda Bemis of Colorado; an aunt, Louise Nelson of Millbury and his former wife, Gwendolyn Johnson of Westwood.

Richard was a Master Electrician and owned his own business for many years.  He was also the wiring inspector for the Town of Sherborn.

Family and friends will honor and remember Richards’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Friday, July 6th from 9 to 11 a.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.

His funeral service will follow the visitation at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.  Burial will be at Central Cemetery in Millbury.
