Rebecca M. Lore

SUTTON - Rebecca Margaret (MacIver) Lore, 89, unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, October 17th in the loving arms of her family at UMass Memorial.

She leaves behind five children- Jozsef III and his wife Carolyn Lore of California, Franz and his wife Nathalie Lore of Pennsylvania, Jennifer Callahan and her husband Michael of Oxford, Attila Lore of Sutton and Rebecca Snyder and her husband Jay of Sutton. She is also survived by her four grandchildren; Alexandre, Sarah, Jozsef IV and Rachel Lore. Her beloved Hungarian husband Jozsef and daughter Elizabeth Lore predeceased her.

She graduated from Marlborough High School and went on to become a Registered Nurse after graduating from Hahnemann Hospital School of Nursing. Professionally, her thirty-five career of clinical advocacy centered on the burgeoning field of Mental Health in which she became a highly commended Senior Psychiatric Nursing Supervisor at Worcester State Hospital. She and her husband formerly operated Lore Apple Orchard in Sutton.

Rebecca’s calling hours, followed by a Memorial Service, will be held on Saturday, October 31st from 10:30AM to 12:30PM at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N Main St, Millbury, MA. A burial service will follow at the Pigeon Hill Cemetery, 178R Mendon Road in Sutton.

After funeral services, there will be a memorial reception at Blackstone National Golf Club, Sutton, MA.
