TELLICO PLAINS, TN – Phyllis Ann (Edwards) Weatherbee, 76, passed away peacefully at her home on September 13, 2018 after a short battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her mother, Isabelle Luthman, her father, Malvin Edwards and her husband, Warren Weatherbee, also known as Hal Warren of “Hal Warren and the Midnight Cowboys.” She was a lifelong fan of country music.
Phyllis leaves her son, Gene Weatherbee and aunt, Jessie Madigan, both with whom she lived in Tellico Plains, Tennessee, She also leaves her sister, Linda L. Robinson “Sissy” and brother-in-law, Marlin Robinson of Millbury, MA; two grandchildren, Kailey and Ryan; one great-grandchild, Cayden and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins as well as beloved family friends.
She graduated from Millbury Memorial High School in Millbury, MA in 1960 and worked as a secretary for many years. Her hobbies included crocheting and crossword puzzles. In addition, she was also an avid animal lover. She had many pets in her life in recent years including Melody, Bella, Buddy, Lily, Harley Stormy, Charlie and Mr. Tibbs.
Family and friends will honor and remember Phyllis’ life by gathering for a time of visitation on Thursday, Sept. 20th from 5 to 8 p.m. p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 21st at St. John's Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street in Worcester.
