MILLBURY- Patsy J. Goyette, 87, passed away in Westerly, RI where she recently resided with her son, on December 11, 2023.
She was born in Macomb, Illinois, the daughter of the late Edwin and Margaret Huber Duncan.
Patsy’s husband of 69 years, Donald R. Goyette passed away in 2019. She is survived by her five daughters, Debra Danault and her husband, Gary of Northbridge, Patrica Koza and her husband, Frank of Spring Lake, NC, Theresa Joubert and her husband, Richard of Whitinsville, Ma, Michelle Ahearn and her husband, Craig of Zephyrhills, Florida and Carol Maxwell and her husband, Tobin of Fitchburg, Ma; a son, Donald Goyette and his fiancée, Jen Munger of Westerly, RI. She also leaves a sister-in-law Carol Warfield and Suzane Yeskevicz and brother inlaw Ronald Yeskevicz
She also leaves her legacy of love with thirteen grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her first grandson, Steven Koza and first great grandson, Logan Gould, along with both her parents and siblings Jack Huber and Donald Duncan,
Mrs. Goyette served in the United States Airforce and was very proud to be a woman veteran. Patsy's passion was her family and spending time with all of them. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother aka Mom-Mom. Her favorite past time was playing cards and dice or gathering the family for fun karaoke sessions down at the beach house.
Family and friends will honor and remember Patsy’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Thursday, Dec. 14th from 4 to 7 pm at Mullane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury. Her funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, Dec. 15th at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with entombment to follow in Notre Dame Mausoleum, Worcester.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Seven Hills Neuro Care, (Burncoat Home) 662 Burncoat Street, Worcester, MA 01606, in honor of her grandson, Raymond Gould who suffered a severe brain injury and lives in the neuro home.
