Patricia G. (Faron) Nault, 74, of Millbury, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, after a brief illness. She was born in Worcester on August 7, 1951, to the late Blanche and Lawrence Faron of Millbury.
Patti is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Thomas W. Nault of Millbury; her beloved children, Rebecca Swasey and her husband Ryan of Mendon, and Christopher Nault and his wife Erin of Worcester. She was the proud and loving grandmother of Benjamin, Samuel, Madeline, and Amelia, who brought her endless joy and filled her life with laughter and love.
She also leaves behind her siblings Lawrence Faron, Carol Noel, Mary Jane Flaherty, Margaret Boldrighini, and Ellen Powers; her brother-in-law James Nault and his wife Phyllis; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A lifelong resident of Millbury, Patti graduated from Millbury High School, Class of 1969. She worked for many years as a senior clerk in plant accounting at New England Power in Westborough, but her greatest and most cherished role was as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She dedicated her life to her family, raising her children and later caring for her grandchildren, who adored her deeply.
Patti was a woman of many talents and passions. A voracious reader, she also had a gift for cooking and baking, and her family will forever treasure the memory of her famous éclair, warm chocolate chip cookies, and perfect pancakes. She was a talented painter and seamstress, and a skilled gardener, especially known for her beautiful hydrangeas. Patti loved hosting Thanksgiving dinners for her family and looked forward each year to Christmas breakfast surrounded by those she loved most.
Some of her happiest moments were trips up north with Tom to enjoy the ocean, fried clams, and lobster rolls. She loved nothing more than sitting by the ocean, whether on Cape Cod, at Hampton Beach, or in York, Maine, soaking in the peace and beauty of the water. Her children fondly recall cruising around in her Toyota Camry with the sunroof open, listening to Air Supply and Eddie and the Cruisers on cassette tapes. She also took joy in feeding her hummingbirds each summer, creating floral arrangements of her beloved hydrangeas to share with friends and family, and gifting handmade afghans stitched with love.
A devoted Boston Red Sox and Bruins fan, Patti brought warmth, patience, and quiet strength to everyone she met. Her sister Ellen beautifully described her life as “one of quiet giving and living,” a reflection of the selfless way she gave of herself to others. Above all, Patti’s life was defined by the deep love she had for her family, who will forever cherish her memory and the legacy of her kindness.
Patti’s family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Dmitry Levenson for his compassionate care over the years, and to the dedicated doctors and nurses at the UMass Memorial North Pavilion, 4th Floor, for their support and comfort during her final days.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Patti’s life during calling hours on Sunday, September 14, from 4 to 7 PM at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 15, at 11:00 AM at St. Brigid’s Church, 59 N. Main Street in Millbury, followed by interment in St. Brigid Cemetery, Millbury.
