Pamela K. Kostrzeba

MILLBURY – Pamela K. (Johnson) Kostrzeba, 80, our beloved sister passed at UMASS Medical Center on August 10th.

She was born in Worcester, MA to Irving R. and Eva E. (Benwood) Johnson. Pam grew up in Sutton but lived in Worcester and Millbury most of her life. She was a kind and loving person and will be missed by all who met her.

She leaves behind her brothers, Charles R. Johnson of Millbury and Ben W. Johnson of Grafton and a sister Lorna K. Chiasson of Grafton, a grandson Michael Kostrzeba and many nieces and nephews and cousins. She also leaves her very dear best friends Theresa Dudzinski, Pamela O’Connor and Sandra Grabowski. Her son Gary Kostrzeba passed in 2022. She was also predeceased by her oldest brother, Chris I. Johnson along with her parents.

Pam attended Sutton High School and later received her GED. She worked for Imperial Distributors in Auburn for over 35 years, retiring in 2014. She was also an Avon lady for many years. She loved going to the casino and she really loved those Red Sox. She had great memories of the many summers at Welsh’s Grove and all the wonderful people she met there who were like a second family.

There will be a graveside service held at Central Cemetery, West Street in Millbury on Wednesday, September 2nd at 11:00 am.
