SUTTON – Pamela J. (Cooper) Hobin, 70, passed away peacefully at Rose Monahan Hospice Home on August 20th, surrounded by her loving family.
Pamela leaves her devoted husband of 42 years William Hobin; two daughters, Alicia Vallee and her husband Rick of Sutton and Nicole Chausse and her husband Nick of Uxbridge; a beloved granddaughter, Emersyn Chausse; a sister Sheila Soloperto and her husband John of Worcester; cherished niece and nephew, Chrystina Soloperto of Holden and Andrew Soloperto and his wife Courtney of Chatham, NJ. She shared a special bond with her extended family, treasuring time spent with nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong family friends.
Pam is predeceased by her parents Merrill Cooper and Rita (Morris) Cooper.
Pam was born and raised in Millbury and graduated from Millbury High School in 1973. She continued on to earn an Associates Degree at Quinsigamond Community College. She began her career at Sears Roebuck and was a dedicated employee throughout her years at Becker College, Drake Petroleum and most recently Imperial Distributors. In recent years, Pam focused much of her time on caring for her Granddaughter.
Pam’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her husband, daughters and close family and friends. She could always be found having a good time with a glass of wine whether it be by her pool with The Merrill Road Crew or on the beaches of the Cape with her family. A lover of the sunshine and travel; Pam cherished family vacations to Aruba. She was a devoted gardener and took great pride in caring for her flowers. Pam was always seeking adventure and looked forward to the next Girl’s Day with her sister, niece and daughters. As a faithful parishioner of St. Mark’s Church in Sutton, she built a strong religious foundation for her family. Pam will be remembered by everyone who knew her as a warm and caring woman, who would help anyone in need.
Pam’s unwavering love for her family left a mark on us that will never fade. We find comfort in knowing that her legacy lives on through the lessons she taught us, family traditions, and the memories we will value forever.
Family and friends will remember Pam’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Thursday, August 28th from 9 to 11:15 a.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on the same day at noon in St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 356 Boston Road, Sutton with burial to follow in Central Cemetery, Millbury.
