SOUTH GRAFTON – Normand E. Thibeault Sr. “Nuttsy”, 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 22nd surrounded by his loving family.
Normand was predeceased by his wife Pauline L. (Lapierre) Thibeault and his oldest daughter Charlene Thibeault. He leaves behind his children Debbra Paille, Normand Thibeault Jr and his partner Joseph Keyes, Sharon Douglas and her husband Robert Douglas, Kevin Thibeault and his wife Heather Thibeault and Melissa Thibeault Durgin. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Normand grew up in Worcester along with 7 sisters and 1 brother, son of Felix Joseph Thibeault and Marie Veronica (Smith) Thibeault. He worked as a foreman for R.H. White Construction Co. in Auburn for over 40 years. He was a long-time member of the Leicester Knights of Columbus where he held a fourth degree. Spending time with family was what was most important to him. He enjoyed fishing, watching baseball, and football every Sunday. He also enjoyed going out to dinner and going to the VFW in Oxford to spend time with his “V” family. Normand was always rattling off jokes and was often referred to as the “human rolodex” for having so many! He was always trying to make everyone laugh.
Family and friends are invited to remember Normand’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Monday, March 27th from 5 to 8 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 28th at 11 a.m. in St. James Church, 89 Main Street, South Grafton. Burial will be private.
