Noe Lebeau, Sr.

MILLBURY – Noe R. LeBeau, Sr., 84, passed away in his home on Tuesday, Oct. 16th surrounded by his loving family.

Noe leaves his wife of 61 years, Patricia E. (Gagne) LeBeau; three children, Michele McBarron and her husband, David of Auburn, Noe R. LeBeau, Jr. and his wife, Susan of Plymouth and Lee A. LeBeau and his wife, Kristin of Millbury; three grandchildren, Emily LeBeau, Alex McBarron and Ryan Blake; many nieces and nephews.  Noe was born in Farnumsville (South Grafton) to Henry E. and Eva M. (Bouttillette) LeBeau.  He is predeceased by six siblings, Armand, Lionel, Bernard LeBeau, Blanche Mongeon, Eleanor Such and Claire LeBeau.

Noe graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in 1955 and received his masters from Worcester State College in 1962.  Noe was a veteran of the United States Army, stationed in Germany as a radio operator.  He was a teacher of English for Grafton High School and North High School for five years.  Noe taught English at Burncoat Senior High School in Worcester for thirty nine years.  He was a member of the Order of the Purple Knights of Holy Cross College, the Knights of Columbus Benedict Council 2379 and the Sodality of Our Blessed Lady of Holy Cross College.  Noe was a faithful parishioner of St. Brigid Church for many years.  He enjoyed trips to Ogunquit, Maine, Holy Cross men’s basketball program and most of all, he loved spending time with his family.  The family would like to extend their appreciation for all the excellent care Noe received from Salmon Hospice of Milford.

Family and friends will honor and remember Noe’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Friday, Oct. 19th from 9 to 10 a.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.

His funeral service will be celebrated following the visitation at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 19th at St. Brigid Church, 59 N. Main Street in Millbury.  Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in South Grafton.
