Nicole M. Day

MILLBURY – Nicole M. (Cotsifas) Day, 47, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, March 23^rd surrounded by her loving family.  

Nicole leaves her husband, Christopher M. Day; two children, Jacob C. and Erin M; her mother, Barbara (Healy) Cotsifas of Jacsonville, Fl.; 2 sisters, Jennifer Indemaio and Stephanie Cotsifas; many nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by her father, Chris Cotsifas.  

Nicole graduated from Sachem High School on Long Island NY and has a Master’s degree from Springfield College.  Nicole married her college sweetheart in 2005.

Nicole was a social worker who loved to help people.  She worked at UMASS for over 8 years.

Nicole was an active person who loved her children with all her heart.  Nicole loved being around her family and friends.  Nicole loved putting a smile on everybody’s face.   Nicole loved the beach, swimming and hiking.

The family would like to thank Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, led by Dr. Kaddis and all the nurses and Salmon Home VNA Care led by Dianna Sawyer for all their care and support. 

Family and friends are invited to remember Nicole’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Friday, April 5^th from 4 to 7 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury.  Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 6^th at 11 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 N. Main Street, Millbury.  Burial will be private.
