Nancy E. Benoit

WORCESTER - Nancy E. (Hall) Benoit,64, passed away at UMass Medical Center on Saturday, October 3rd after a brief hospitalization.

Nancy was born on December 25, 1961 in Worcester and was the daughter of Eugene T. and Vera Jo (Carlson) Hall. She leaves her devoted husband of 18 years, Andrew Benoit. She also leaves her brother Thomas Hall and his wife Doreen and her sister Patricia Rutherford and her husband David, her sister-in-law Kathleen and her husband Dr. Federic Baker, her brother-in-law Michael Benoit and his wife Lucinda, as well as her sons, Joseph Kacevich and his wife Stephanie and William Kacevich and his fiancée Danielle McCaffrey. Other family members include her grandchildren, Vera, Danny, Thomas, Gus and Cristian. She also leaves a great granddaughter Lucy, her former daughter-in-law Jessica Kacevich as well as nephews and nieces, aunts, cousins and friends.

Nancy grew up in Millbury and graduated from Millbury High School in 1979. She proudly served the Worcester Police Department as a dispatcher of Police, Fire and EMS services for 31 years, retiring in 2016.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Liver Clinic Team at UMass as well as the 6th Floor ICU nurses and doctors for the care, kindness and guidance they provided to Nancy.

Family and friends are welcome to remember Nancy’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Wednesday, October 14th from 5 to 7 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury.
