DOUGLAS- Myles A. Hibbard ended his marathon battle with cancer on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 passing away at home.
Myles leaves his loving wife Aimee L. (Charpentier) Hibbard of 20 years; his three sons Austin J. Hibbard, Micah A. Hibbard and Linden D. Hibbard; and a daughter Arianna R. Hibbard of Plymouth and her partner Christopher Daale; his five brothers, Harry Hibbard and his wife Laurie of Hull, Timothy Hibbard of Weymouth, Robert Hibbard and his wife Jayne of Sutton, Matthew Hibbard and his wife Janet of Webster, and Paul Hibbard of Quincy; sister in-laws Pamela McBurnie of Scituate and Lucy Johnston of Boxford; in-laws David and Phyllis Charpentier of Sutton; brother in-law Richard L. Charpentier and his partner Jodi LeDoyt of Prescott, Arizona; sister in-laws Jade M. (Charpentier) Saksa and her husband Eddie of Whitinsville, and Rose M. Charpentier of Sutton; godchildren Natalia I. Saksa of Whitinsville and Douglas Bowen of Douglas; and many nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by his parents, Harry and Priscilla (McCarthy) Hibbard.
Myles dedicated the best of his 35 plus year professional career to Kadant Solutions Division as a Purchasing Manager, having started at Bio-Rad Laboratories in Cambridge.
Myles enjoyed being with family on Manchaug Pond - playing ice hockey, boating, swimming, grilling, and listening to music on the decks. He loved playing golf with his late father and with his brothers, family and friends. He was a devoted New England sports fan especially for his beloved Boston Bruins and New England Patriots.
Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation on Friday, May 30th from 4 to 7 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.
On Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 11 a.m. there will be a funeral Mass at St. Denis Church, 23 Manchaug St, Douglas with burial immediately following at St. Denis Cemetery.
Those attending the Mass are asked to go directly to church.
