Chaplin, CT - Muriel W. (Holdridge) Fiedler, 96, formerly of Chaplin, died January 23 in Bensenville, IL.
Her husband, Rev. Raymond E. Fiedler, died in 1978. She leaves a daughter, Donna Yapp of Hoffman Estates, IL, and a grandson, Christopher C. Yapp of Manchester, CT.
Mrs. Fiedler was born in Norwich, CT, daughter of William and Georgia (Whitford) Holdridge.
Throughout the years, she was very active in the churches her husband served, in Preston City and Chaplin, both in Connecticut, and in Medford, Greenfield, North Carver, Hudson, and South Grafton, all in Massachusetts. She enjoyed knitting and reading.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 3, at 11 AM in Grove Hill Cemetery, Rockville, CT.
