Mukesh Desai

MILLBURY

Mukesh Desai was born on November 2 1955 in Sultanpur, Gujarat- India. From an early age, he was driven to achieve and never shied away from a challenge. He worked at a chemical factory where his sharp mind and practical approach made him a valuable asset. But Dad wasn’t content to simply follow a set path—he was an entrepreneur at heart, always looking for new opportunities, always willing to take a risk. He believed that nothing ventured meant nothing gained, and he lived his life with a boldness that inspired everyone around him. He peacefully passed away on August 24, 2024.

Mukesh is survived by his loving wife Kalpana, his children Vrunda and Bhavin, son in law Mayur, daughter in law Amanda, his grandchildren: Riya, Dev, Sanay, and Priya. Mukesh had many family and friends who were near and dear to him as well. He wasn’t just a father to his kids, He was a friend to everyone he met.

His sense of humor would light up a room . From a young age he instilled in his kids the importance of being tough and practical. He believed that life wasn’t always easy but with resilience and clear head we could face anything that came our way. Whether it was through his early jobs or challenges he faced growing up, he developed up strong sense of self-reliance and determination. These were qualities he carried with him throughout his life and passed down to us.

Though we will miss him terribly, we know that his lessons will continue to guide us. We’ll carry his wisdom in our hearts, applying it to every challenge we face, just as he taught us.

There is nothing more that Mukesh loves than his family. He enjoyed nature, travelling to different places and enjoyed Kalpana’s home made food. And most of all he enjoyed spending time with the people he loved.

We will forever love and remember Mukesh for the amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle, and friend that he was.
