It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michael C. Pulaski on August 14th, 2026, whose larger-than-life personality, generous spirit, and unmistakable laugh left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Mike is predeceased by his father, William J. Pulaski Jr. He is survived by his mother, Rita C. Pulaski, his brother William J. Pulaski Jr. and his wife Ann Marie Pulaski, his nieces Hannah J. Pulaski and Kristina L. Pulaski, his aunts, cousins, bonus family Amanda, DJ, Angelina, Ayla, and Alijah and his beloved dog, Sam.
Michael lived his entire life in Millbury, MA and attended Blackstone Valley Vocational High School. He had a successful career in construction, taking pride in hard work and doing things the right way. No matter the season, he was always willing to lend a helping hand - whether that meant plowing a neighbor’s driveway after a snowstorm or cutting down a tree in the heat of summer - he was always ready and willing to be there. He lived by the belief that if someone needed you, you showed up, and he would gladly give the shirt off his back to anyone he cared about. He had a natural gift for storytelling, and his loud, unapologetically unfiltered personality could have a room laughing until tears rolled down their faces. He was, without question, the life of the party wherever he went and effortlessly filled our lives with smiles and laughter.
When he wasn’t working, he embraced every opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. An avid hunter and fisherman, he found peace in nature and adventure on the open road, especially while exploring the back roads of New England on his Harley. He also loved traveling to Florida with his lifelong best friend, Quilly, making countless memories in Key West and at the NASCAR races in Daytona Beach.
One of the greatest loves of his life was his faithful dog, Sam - better known to many as “L.D.” Sam provided him with nothing but happiness, companionship, and love for 17 years. The two were inseparable and could often be seen driving through town together, their heads out the truck window, howling in perfect harmony. Although she’s a small dog, Sam took up the most room in his heart.
While he brought joy to so many others, Michael also faced battles of his own. He spoke openly about his struggles with depression because he wanted others to know that it’s okay to not be okay, and that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. It was a message he cared deeply about, and one his family hopes will continue to encourage others to reach out when they need support.
Above all else, Michael loved fiercely. He was deeply loyal to his family, endlessly generous to all who knew him, and lived life with a passion that could never be ignored. His absence leaves an immeasurable void, but the laughter he created, the stories he shared, the kindness he showed, and the love he gave so freely will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be missed more than words can ever express.
The family would like to thank the Millbury Police/Fire departments and Medstar paramedics for their hard work, support, and most of all, kindness.
In lieu of flowers please feel free to donate to a mental health organization of your choice.
