MILLBURY – Michael E. Kozlowski, 71, died Sunday, Oct 23rd in St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, after a 22-month battle with Pancreatic Cancer.
He leaves his wife of 47 years, Christine J. (Russo) Kozlowski; two sons, Joseph M. Kozlowski and his girlfriend Michele Ferraiuolo and Jeffrey A. Kozlowski; and his wife Stephanie; two grandchildren, Brooke Massicotte and Nathan Kozlowski; a sister Katherine Rausch and her husband, Daniel; a brother, Richard Kozlowski and his wife Helen; nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Edward and Virginia (King) Kozlowski.
Michael worked at Liberty Engines, in Worcester, where he worked for many years. He served in the National Guard and graduated from Worcester Academy in 1969 and enjoyed attending his 50th class reunion. He loved working in his garage working on cars and tinkering. A great joy to him was attending his grandchildren’s sports activities.
Family and friends are invited to Michael’s calling hours from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25th at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main St. in Millbury. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Brigid Church 59 N. Main St. in Millbury at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26th . Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Alliance % UMASS Memorial Foundation, 333 South Street, Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
