WORCESTER – Marion A. (Frazier) Dyberg, 85, passed away on Monday, May 1st surrounded by her loving family.
Marion leaves a son, Mark L. Dyberg and his wife, Karen and their daughter, Allison of Millbury; a daughter, Lorna R. Cardin and her husband, Phillip and their daughter, Kahlan and her fiancé Tim of Worcester; a son, Carl T. Dyberg. She is predeceased by her brothers, Raymond and Paul Frazier and her sister, Rita Frazier.
Marion graduated from the former Commerce High School in 1951. She worked as a book keeper for many companies throughout her life. Marion married Paul L. Dyberg in 1958, later in life they divorced but remained extremely close friends. She enjoyed cribbage, bingo and traveling with the senior center in Worcester. Marion loved to watch the Red Sox and the Patriots. She also loved spending time with her family and dog sitting at Mark’s house.
Marion celebrated 35 years of sobriety in 2017 with her family by her side. The AA program was a very important part of her life, though the program she sponsored and changed the lives of many people.
Family and friends will honor and remember Marion’s life by gathering for calling hours on Friday, May 4th from 5 to 8 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 5th at Noon in the Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester.
