Marie E. Kosiba

MILLBURY – Marie E. (Theberge) Kosiba, 87, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, Sept 22^nd surrounded by her family and beloved dog, Daisy.

Marie leaves four sons, David F. King and his wife, Jo-Ann of Sutton, Francis B. King and his wife, Gail, Joseph C. Kosiba Jr. and his wife, Karen and Steven M. Kosiba and his wife, Pam all of Millbury; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and a large extended family.  She is predeceased by her first husband, Francis B. King and her second husband, Jospeh C. Kosiba.

Marie was born in Warren and lived most of her life in Millbury.  Recently she was a volunteer for the Millbury Senior Center, a board member of the Millbury Council on Aging, a member of the Millbury Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, a volunteer for Elder Services and a poll worker for town elections. Marie enjoyed knitting, camping, her second home in Vermont and most of all spending time with her family.  She took great pride in being a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and aunt to ten Millbury Firefighters. 

Family and friends are invited to remember and celebrate Marie’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Monday, Oct. 2^nd from 3 to 6 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.  Her funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home.  Burial will be private.
