Mae Ledoux

GRAFTON - Mae L. (Wigren) Ledoux, 85, of 6 Greenlawn Avenue, South Grafton, died Wed. Feb. 6, in Knollwood Nursing Center, Worcester.

She leaves her husband of 53 years, Napoleon F. Ledoux; a brother, Russell Wigren of Worcester; a granddaughter; three step grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a nephew and four nieces. Her son Robert W. Ledoux died in 1999. She was born in Worcester, daughter of John and Christina (Danielson) Wigren and has lived in South Grafton 53 years. She graduated from the former Commerce High School in Worcester.

Mrs. Ledoux worked at a hat shop in Upton for many years, before she retired. She was a member of the Union Congregational Church and also volunteered at the churchTM)s Thrift Shop for 25 years. She was a member of the Grafton Council on Aging, a former member of the auxiliary of the Alfred J. Demers American Legion Post and the auxiliary of the Disabled American Veterans.

A funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9 in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Massachusetts Affiliate, 1 Bromfield St., 5th Floor, Boston, Ma. 02108.
