MILLBURY - Mabel P. (LeVasseur) Anderson Lakama, 86, formerly of Florida and 6 Glover Rd., died Monday, Jan. 21, in Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation for Millbury.

Her husband, Joseph J. Lakama, died in 1993 and her first husband, George Anderson
died in 1955. She leaves four daughters, Shirley M. Connelly of Brattleboro, Vermont, Sharill J. Stewart of Avoca, New York, Carole A. Fegreus of Oxford, and Georgia A. Maddocks of Millbury; a son, Anton J. Anderson of Phoenix, Arizona; a brother, C. Frederick Ekman of Barre; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in Caribou, Maine, daughter of James and Marguerite (Martin) LeVasseur and has lived in Millbury since 1993.

Mrs. Lakama was a member of St. BrigidTM)s Church, the Millbury Council on Aging and a former member of the Millbury WomanTM)s Club.

A funeral will be held Thursday, Jan. 24, from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St. Burial will be in St. BrigidTM)s Cemetery. Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Activities Fund of the Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation, 312 Millbury Ave., Millbury, Ma. 01527.
