Known as Lovey by her family and friends, she was a devoted wife and mother. Family meant everything to her. She was an avid baker, baking pies each week and special treats for all occasions. She was also a lover of nature, enjoying walks in the snow, sledding with her grandchildren, and spending time at the beach. She loved to garden, taking special care of her lawn and flowers well into her nineties. She was a talented seamstress making her children’s clothes, pillows and curtains. Lovey enjoyed crocheting and made many special afghans for her children and grandchildren. Her 100 years were a gift to us all, and her memory will forever be a blessing.
