Lorraine M. Thibeault

SUTTON - Lorraine "Lori" M. (Rogers) Thibeault passed away of natural causes in the early morning hours of September 30, 2025 at her home in Sutton, Massachusetts.

Born April 24, 1952, in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, and growing up around Upton, Massachusetts, she danced with a group named The Telstars during her teenage years, and married Gerard "Jerry" Thibeault in May of 1971. They went on to have three sons.

She worked in manufacturing and retail until the 1990s, when she went back to school for bookkeeping and did secretarial work until her retirement in 2008. Everyone loved her cooking, she enjoyed video games, loved to sing with the amateur folk group Old Friends, and participated in church choir.

A listening ear and strong voice of conviction for the benefit of her friends and family, she was also a devoted Catholic who encouraged others, especially her children, to keep the faith.

Lori is preceded by her parents, Bernard Rogers and Bernadette (Carpentier) Rogers, sister Cecile (Rogers) Pomfred, and brother Thomas Rogers, and leaves behind her beloved husband, Jerry, and three sons: Mark Thibeault and Paul Thibeault of Sutton, and Christopher Thibeault of Upton.

Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Lori’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Wednesday, Oct. 8th from 5 to 7 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury. 

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, Oct. 9th at 11 a.m. in St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 356 Boston Road, Sutton with burial to follow in Howard Cemetery, Sutton.
