Lorraine T. LaRue

MILLBURY - Lorraine T. (Morin) LaRue. As the leaves fall gently down so do our tears at this time of sorrow. It is with much sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, Lorraine died peacefully on Thursday, Sept 25, 2025 at UMass Memorial Hospital, where she was on hospice care.

She lived 100 wonderful years! Lorraine is predeceased by her loving husband Raymond L. LaRue, brothers Roger Morin, Edward Morin and sister Janet Simonds. She leaves behind Siblings, Bernice Seymour of Florida, Steven & Anita Giro of Millbury, Jean Dalton of Auburn, Paul & Jean Morin of Douglas. Sons, Steven LaRue & Susan Montague of Hubbardston, Brian LaRue & Debora Heath of Millbury who were her caregivers for many years, Robert LaRue of Oxford, David LaRue & Bonnie Collette of Wales. Grandchildren, Mark Berthaume, Katrina LaRue, Robert LaRue Jr. and Breanna Lee, many nieces, nephews and friends.

Lorraine graduated from Assumption School, Millbury High School and went on to receive a certificate from secretarial school. She worked for many years as a secretary for High Carbon Wire and NENSCO in Millbury besides raising four sons. Lorraine was a devout catholic and member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Millbury. She enjoyed spending time with family, bowling in a league where she received many awards, crossword puzzles, reading the daily paper and keeping up with current events.

Lorraine will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 14th from 5 to 7pm at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N Main St, Millbury, MA 01527.
