Lois Therese Laplante, aged 79, of Millbury, MA, passed away peacefully on November 26th. She was born on June 3, 1946 in Worcester, MA to Ovila and Marie (Loiselle) Laplante.
Lois was known for her love of her family, her generous heart and her faithful spirit. She is survived by her two sisters, Caroline Bazin of Millbury and Michelle Connelly of Clinton; nieces and nephews, Jacqui Koplik, Michael Gonyea, David Bazin, and Nicole Monfredo; great nieces and nephews; one Uncle: Brother Donald Richard and many Laplante and Loiselle cousins.
Lois lived in Millbury all her life, until the last year or so when she moved to be cared for at the Knollwood Nursing Center in Worcester. She graduated from Holy Name Central Catholic High School and went on to work at New England Newspaper Supply Company and Edward Buick as an Office Manager.
The family wishes to acknowledge the excellent, compassionate care Lois received at Knollwood Nursing Center as well as from the staff at JHC Hospice.
A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 2nd from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury.
Her funeral Mass will be held the same day at 11 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 N. Main Street, Millbury with burial to follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.
